As we begin the new year, we can’t help but look back on 2018 and be thankful for all of our patients and the fulfillment you have given us as a practice and a dental family. Our practice experienced a year of learning and growth as we embarked on new areas in an effort to reach our patients more frequently and consistently. Many of you may have noticed the increase in communication from our practice, whether it be through a monthly emails, our Facebook page or the blog on our website. Our hope is to provide you with valuable information on the importance of proper dental care and how it relates to your overall health.

A visit to the dentist is not only a means for a healthier mouth, but a healthier you! We hope that through our efforts over the past year, we have been successful in driving that message home.

In case you missed it, here are a couple of things we planned this past year:

This past November we ran our Pie In the Face Contest for charity and had an absolute blast! Through your votes, we not only raised $250 for the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Bank but had a ton of laughs as we watched Dr. Raccio get a pie in the face live on Facebook! If you have not seen the video, check it out below, we promise you’ll be laughing too!

Also this year, we added resources on our website that support our goal of providing valuable information for all of our patients. In September, we launched Kids Korner, this is resource for parents and children alike to learn proper dental habits from an early age. In doing so, we are providing our children with the tools to maintain healthy habits they can take into adulthood. Through fun activities, coloring sheets, word games and guides we hope to engage children in a fun way while giving them ownership over their own dental health.

This year, we are excited to continue providing you with valuable and exciting ways to interact with us between your dental visits.

Thank you again, Happy New Year and we look forward to serving you in 2019!
